Ik heb de tijd genomen om eens de evolutiethorie te onderzoeken gegeven door wetenschappers. Wat mij opvalt is dat het stikvol aannamens staat.Ik kom termen tegen zoals:
pogingen te verklaren
tenminste een aanwijzing
verklaring die gewoonlijk wordt aangenomen
hypothese
het suggereerd
Wat ik zie is dat het in de boeken en met name ook schoolboeken wordt omgedoopt tot definitiefe gebeurtenissen.

Beste Ria,

Wetenschappers zijn altijd voorzichtig met hun formuleringen, dat is gebruikelijk in elke wetenschappelijke discipline. Er is ook veel discussie over allerlei aspecten van evolutie, discussies binnen de evolutiebiologie, hetgeen ook gebruikelijk is in elke discipline. De kern van de evolutietheorie, dat al het leven verwant is aan elkaar via gemeenschappelijke afstamming met modificatie en dat natuurlijke selectie een belangrijk drijvend mechanisme is, staat echter buiten kijf in de wetenschappelijke wereld. Schoolboeken zijn vaak ongenuanceerd; dat is helaas didactisch vaak noodzakelijk. Dit probleem kom je echter tegen bij alle schoolboeken, niet alleen bij die voor biologie gebruikt worden.
